Is Joe Gibbs Racing actively recruiting Carl Edwards?

I heard a report that Carl Edwards is talking with other teams since he would be a free agent, and that Gibbs may be interested in him. Are they planning to go to 4 teams or is someone there in jeopardy of losing his job? Carl Edwards seems to be a great fit at Roush and I would imagine Jack would do everything possible to keep his best driver. What do you think?
