What would be a good idea for a research paper?

I need a couple of ideas for a 9th grade research paper. I have looked and had ideas but none of them are very good. I want one with lots of information and I can only use one internet site and one encyclopedia and the rest books and magazines. I want it to be interesting, and this paper is worth 500 points.
