How do you clean a CD?

You could try this solution. Press a small strip of sticky tape (eg sellotape) firmly over the "material" you want to remove. Then remove the tape in one sharp movement. This will remove the unwanted material without scratching your CD. You may need to do this a few times depending on how much material you need to remove.
