Please read and critique the beginning of my novel. I asked this question before, but I'd like more opinions?

I really like it but not as a begining. It doesn't have the right feel to it for some reason. When I read it, it feels like I have opened up the middle of the book and am lost before I even begin. But other than that it sounds really well. Great Job!
