No kidding. Unfortunately, I don't have much faith that things will change. People are so focused on how they look rather than how they act, that people will never understand. No matter what we say to them, unless they change their mental image of themselves... it's a lost cause. It takes a strong person to be happy with the way they look and with today's society, where there's the "perfect body," perfect hair", etc... Girls' self esteems are getting worse and worse. We're so focused on gaining others approval that we never give ourselves OUR approval. Then we wouldn't need other people to tell us we're pretty.
