What's going on with Charlie Sheen right now?

Can anyone tell me what's happening? I keep hearing all these references to Charlie Sheen in the last few days, but every article I try to read about it is pretty much under the umption that I already know what's going on. I get the idea that he has kind of gone crazy, but what are the specific cirstances?
