What happens to the neutrons in nuclear fission?

A nucleus is bombarded with a neutron and causes it to split, creating two separate atoms and releasing the neutron used for the process and an additional neutron. Where do the two neutrons go? I know in a chain reaction process it would split more atoms, but eventually the reaction has to stop and those final neutrons have to go somewhere?
