Why do so many non-Christians speak so harshly of what they do not know?

So many questioners and answerers on here are quick to put Christians down as ignorant, illogical, uneducated and stupid. They claim we present no proof but how many times do I need to retype the evidence? Can't you just debate respectfully? I know I'm not talking to everyone, though.Thank you to those who are respectful.
