I think being friends would not hurt. You obviously have jealousy issues about her because you care about her. Sometimes things just don't work out but being friends would keep you close. Get another girl and take her around them if she is jealous of your relationship she made the wrong decision if not let it be. If she does get jealous don't break up with your next girl because you'll always have to remember what happened even if it was mainly your fault, it goes two ways (and i you were eaisly replaced and basically cheated on don't think it won't happen again. good luck!!!
